• Install tp-smapi-source (Kuliax), hdapsd (Kuliax) and hdaps-utils (stable) packages

  # apt-get install tp-smapi-source hdapsd hdaps-utils

• Build tp-smapi module

  m-a a-i tp-smapi-source

• Run hdaps-gl and you will find it displays the position of your thinkpad.

  $ hdaps-gl

  Just tilt right, left, up, and down. You got the idea.

• test with moving your notebook, you should hear your headdisk is parking
